Record label

The label is one part of the process.

JGRMUSIC coordinates production, releases, digital distribution and marketing for its own projects, and is clear about its relationship with each one.

Our role

What a label does inside this company.

A release doesn't start on its publication day. It depends on a clear identity, a finished production and a plan to reach its audience.

Within artist development, the label organizes that last part of the journey, connecting what was recorded with what gets published and what gets communicated afterward.

What it coordinates

Four fronts of a release.

  1. Production coordination

Connects the project with music production, from recording to final files.

  2. Release preparation

Materials, data, credits, cover art and date, ready before publishing.

  3. Digital distribution

Coordinating the delivery of each release to music platforms.

  4. Marketing

Strategy and promotion for the release through music marketing, in partnership with Artgency.co.

Types of relationship

Four different relationships. We keep them separate.

Working with us on one doesn't imply the others. Each has its own agreement.

Representation

Managing and booking an artist for live performances. This is the case for our artists.

Work-for-hire production

We do defined work for your project, with scope and rights set per project. It doesn't make you a label artist.

Advisory

We support career and release decisions with the eight-phase method, without implying a record deal.

Record agreements

A label relationship with an artist or a specific release. Its terms are reviewed case by case and put in writing.

What a credit means

Being listed as the label isn't owning the masters.

JGRMUSIC is listed as the label on releases by Nati Ortiz and Julián Gil. The credits are listed on Muso.ai.

That describes how a release appears in public information. It doesn't by itself indicate who owns the masters or the publishing, which depends on each project's documents.

Questions

Worth making clear.

Do I have to sign with the label to produce with you?
No. You can hire a production without any record agreement.
Can I send my music for you to release?
You can tell us about your project through artist development. Not every project ends in a label agreement, and we'll tell you so plainly.
Do you promise streams or income?
No. No agreement with us guarantees streams, deals or profitability.
Do you handle copyright or publishing?
It isn't part of the offering we publish. If your project raises it, we'll talk it through before any agreement.

Not sure what relationship your project needs?

Tell us where you are and we'll point you to the right path.
